is given, it applies to all sizes. To follow pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before
beginning.

MATERIALS
630-402 Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky Yarn: Wheat
5 (5, 5, 6, 7, 7) Balls
Lion Brand Knitting Needles - Size 10 [6 mm]
Lion Brand Knitting Needles Size 11 [8 mm]
Large-Eyed Blunt Needles
Boye Aluminum Circular Knitting Needles 16 inches Size 10
GAUGE:

11 sts + 16 rows = 4 in. on size 11 (8mm) needles in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE


SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project
will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will
be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try
using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook
or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
ssk (slip, slip, knit) Sl next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time, to right needle; insert the left
needle into the fronts of these 2 sts and knit them tog.
ssp (slip, slip, purl) Sl next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time, to right needle, pass them back
to left needle; purl them tog through back loops.

PULLOVER
Back
With smaller needles, cast on 56 (62, 68, 74, 78, 84) sts. Work in k1, p1 rib for 2 1/2 in. (6.5 cm). Change
to larger needles and work in St st until piece measures 14 1/2 (15, 15 1/2, 16, 16, 16) in. (37 (38, 39.5,
40.5, 40.5, 40.5 cm) from beg (or desired length to underarm). End with a WS row.
Raglan Armhole Shaping
Bind off 4 (5, 6, 6, 6, 7) sts at beg of next 2 rows 48 (52, 56, 62, 66, 70) sts. Dec 1 st each side every 3rd
row 2 (2, 4, 4, 4, 6) times as follows:
When dec falls on RS row: K1, k2tog, k to last 3 sts; end ssk, k1;
When dec falls on WS row: P1, p2tog, p to last 3 sts; end ssp, p1.
Dec 1 st each side every other row 15 (16, 15, 16, 18, 17) times, working only the RS row decs.
Bind off remaining 14 (16, 18, 22, 22, 24) sts.
Front
Work as for back until piece measures 21 (22, 23 1/2, 24 1/2, 25 1/2, 26) in. (53 1/2 (56, 59.5, 62, 65, 66

cm) (If you have adjusted body length to underarm, adjust accordingly) End with a WS row.
Neck Shaping
Cont to work Raglan armhole shaping as for back. Join 2nd ball of yarn and bind off center 8 (8, 10, 14, 14,
14) sts. Working both sides at once with separate balls of yarn, dec 1 st from each neck edge every other
row 2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4) times. When all Raglan armhole shaping has been worked and piece measures same
length as back, fasten off remaining 1 st each side.
Sleeves
With smaller needles cast on 24 (26, 28, 30, 34, 36) sts. Work in k1, p1 rib for 2 in. (6 cm). Change to
larger needles and working in St st, inc 1 st each side every 3rd row 0 (0, 0, 0, 0, 8) times, every 4th row 6
(9, 13, 13, 13, 6) times, and every 6th row 5 (3, 0, 0, 0, 0) times until 46 (50, 54, 56, 60, 64) sts. Work
even until piece measures 17 (17 1/4, 16 3/4, 16 1/2, 16 1/2, 15 3/4) in. (43 (44, 42.5, 42, 42, 40 cm) (or
desired length) from beg, ending with a WS row. Work Raglan armhole shaping as for back. Bind off
remaining 4 sts.
FINISHING
Sew Raglan armhole sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
Neck
With circular needle and RS facing, pick up and k 54 (56, 60, 70, 70, 76) sts evenly spaced around neck.
Work in rnds of k1, p1 rib for 1 in. (2.5 cm). Bind off all sts loosely in rib.
Weave in ends.
