WHAT IS A CONCEPT MAP?


suatu teknik untuk memudahkan memahami
suatu informasi yang kompleks dengan cara
menghubungkan data data informasi ke dalam
suatu peta visual.

Concept mapping is a type of


structured conceptualization which
can be used by groups to develop a
conceptual framework which can
guide evaluation or planning. (Trochim,
2003)

Concept maps were developed in 1972 in the


course of Joseph Novak's research program at
Corne ll University.
Today concept mapping is widely and successfully
applied in many different fields of education, e.g.
concept mapping is widely used in science
education (Behrendt et. al. 2000; Fischer et.al.
2001; Reiska 1999, 2005).

WHY CREATE CONCEPT MAPS?
