Install putty : http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.

html
By Clicking putty.exe, install putty in your windows system.
Then Install Xming as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Open Xming from the start window. You will see the X-server running on your hidden
icons on you right corner like shown in this picture below.

Open putty, Then go to ssh, x11 and enable x11 forwarding as shown in this picture
below

Then click the session on top : as shown below and type the server ip address :
10.1.10.47

It will open the console window. Type your user name and passwd.

It will login you into the system, like shown below

You can execute any program by typing its name: such as fedora browser to start
local host:
For example type Konqueror in the console window and you will get the gui
window. You can launch local host from here to optimize moodle.

I type local host;

So we need not to sit in from the server to optimize moodle.


User names:
veera, adam, chris, Kendra
pwd : techacademy1

In case if you want to be super user. Type su and pwd is the same
techacademy1.
