Burtons Daily routine

The Burtons are a small family. They have got two children: Sarah and
Philip. They live in Southampton, Southern England. They work in
Hastings and they usually go to work by car.
Mrs. Burton gets up at 7 a.m. and she prepares breakfast for all the
family. Sarah and Philip get up at 7.30, they have breakfast and walk
to school. They have classes from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. they have lunch
in the school canteen.
Mr. and Mrs. Burton dont go home for lunch. They have a light meal
in a snack bar. It consists of a sandwich and juice. After lunch they
usually go shopping or for a walk in the park before going back to
work. They finish their work at 5.30.
In the afternoon Philip and Sarah usually do their homework. Twice a
week they go to the club to play tennis. Before dinner they sometimes
watch TV or play computer games. They have dinner together at
about 7.30. After dinner Mr. and Mrs. Burton read the newspaper while
Philip and Sarah watch TV.

Sandras daily routine

I usually get up at 7.15. I have a shower, get dressed and then I have
breakfast with my mother. For breakfast I always have milk and toast.
I kiss my mother and leave for work by bus. I work as a secretary in a
lawyers office. At half past ten there is a break for coffee. I have
lunch in a restaurant. After lunch I read the newspaper and then I
come back to work till 5 p.m. Three days a week I meet my friend
Betty and we go to the swimming pool for an hour of training. I love
swimming! I have dinner at 8 oclock and after dinner I sometimes go
to the pub for a drink or I stay at home watching TV. Then I go to bed
at half past eleven.
