Introduction to Learning Difficulties
Mr. Mohamad Hassan has given the teachers the welcoming speech. He was introduced all
the J/Us and their names are Mrs.Karam Kour from PPD KULIM, Mrs. Nurul Wazna PPD
KULIM Bandar Bahru, Mrs. Najihah from PPD Kota Setar, Cik Siti Fadzlina from PPD Kota
Setar. Pn Siti Munawarah she is vice president of English panel PPD Kota Setar was also
give welcome speech to all teachers. She told us that those who are going teach year 3
English is should follow this course. She advised us that the teachers attendance is
compulsory during all course sessions. All teachers should gain knowledge and prepared to
teach next year 3.

Effective Remedial Teaching
This session was conducted by Mr. Muhamad Hassan. He explains of the problems that
faced y the remedial pupils and the teachers. He gives some quizzes to answer and
discussed the answers. He advised that teacher should not neglects the remedial pupils
and they also have to know read and write as mention in Linus 2.0 NKRA. He also advised
we should achieved 100 % linus for the next year. The objective to attend this course is,
achieve the target is literacy awareness and exposed to the used of book 3 and adopt,
adapt the modules.

Literacy and awareness
This session was conducted by Mrs. Karam Kaur. Mrs Karam was informed that each pupil
has their unique so as we teachers should identify the problems and solve the problems. So
she added with the movie of TERE NAM PAR it was story of dyslexia pupils whom the

teacher was identify it and make him low density of confident and become success at last
of the movie. This session ends around 4.45pm.

Day 2 ( 22 September 2014)

Emergent Literacy
This session was conducted by Mrs. Karam Kaur. Mrs Karam was informed that each pupil
has their unique so as we teachers should identify the problems and solve the problems. So
