Speech for City Council Meeting

Hello Mr. Mayor and members of the city council, my name is Martin Salced and I
represent the URSA we are a group that is against the use of safeion, in the city of Ponder.
Im against the spraying of safeion in the city of Ponder because it affects our
environment. Safeion is really harmful to humans, animals, and many living organisms. Safeion
also affects the dirt and soil where its sprayed. The chemicals that safeion contains puts many
living organisms at risk to get sick or catch a disease. Humans have a bigger chance of getting
sick or getting a disease.
Safeion has many chemicals that can cause cancer, nerve damage, birth defects, memory
loss, and many other long term effects.
Safeion is usually washed into streams, rivers, or lakes and it has a bad effect on the
water. The fish that live in the water have to move out of that contaminated water or else they
will die. Most of the time the die because the rivers, streams, and lakes are small so they have no
where to go. This can also harm other organisms like birds and other animals that drink from the
water source. Since the water source is contaminated with safeion if they drink from it they can
also die or get really sick.
Safeion also affects our health and body because we are eating the fruits and vegetables
that have been sprayed with safeion. Safeion contains a lot of harmful chemicals that can damage
many of our body organisms and parts. The chemicals can cause really bad stomach aches and
headaches. and other body aches.
In conclusion, I suggest we vote against the use of safeion in the city of ponder because
of all the reasons it hurt our environment and our planet.
