Water Pollution

On earth it consist of 70% waters and 30% is land. Consequently, the

populations of the earth should be able to abuse the water properly and correctly.
Water is the source of life for all living things, not just for humans but also plants and
animals as well. Especially for humans who have more intellect than other living
creatures, they should treat and take care of water well. If the water is not taken care
well, a water pollution will happen. This phenomenon will impact if it gets worse and
will effect sanitation which is a part of people’s lives, damaged marine life, and
natural disaster.

Water becomes very important for humans because we do various activities by

using water. Even in the human body the consist of water content about two-thirds or
60-70% of our body weight. Humans need a lot of clean water for use to do all
activity in a day. They need it to wash clothes, vegetables, fruits, and kitchen
utensils ; cook food, drink, and also bathe. If water is contaminated by oli pollution or
industrial waste, it can lead to our skin rashes and health problems like cancer,
reproductive problems, fever, and stomach sickness in humans who consumed that.
Which is why it’s very important to make sure that your water is clean and safe to
bathe and drink.

Water pollution is one of the causes of damage for marine life. Fish and
shellfish which are contaminated by oil aren’t impacted in deep seas, but they are who
living, feeding or spawning in shallow water became weak and will death. Fish can
also be contaminated from oil residues and become unfit for human consumption.
Water pollution also can damage coral or plants under water, whereas plants are
important parts of the food chain and provide a habitat for many creatures. The
rubbish who dumped by humans into the sea like plastic bag, soda cans, milk cartons,
and medical waste can block animal water’s digestive system and cause a slow and
painful death for them. We must keep ocean stay clean to protect marine health and
also human health.

Natural disasters such as floods, tornados, earthquakes, and tsunamis, can

disrupt and contaminate water supplies. Flooding or other disasters can damage the
flow of water in the water pipe that usually we used to take a bath and the wells of
drinking water can lead to wells contamination from human sewage, livestock waste,
and chemicals. During and after a natural disaster, especially flooding, do not use
water to wash dishes, wash food, take a bath, or brush your teeth. And also if we have
an existing water treatment system, we must service after a natural disaster has
occurred to ensure it hasn’t been damaged.

In conclusion, water pollution can caused bad effects from various aspects.
The effect has an impact on humans, marine life, and natural disaster. The best
solution to solving pollution is to make changes in our bad daily habits and pay more
attention to the types of products we consume. If we have a desire to change bad
habits, we can save other living creatures and also can live more health than before.
