2014/15 Formative Assessment Information

Once you have registered you will gain access the relevant Formative Assessment page under
your list of courses on the Laws VLE. Here you will be able to access the questions as well as
further information on completing and submitting your answers.

All answers must be submitted via the plagiarism prevention software on the VLE.

Your answer must not exceed 2,000 words. Examiners will not mark any content that exceeds
this limit.

No bibliography is required.

Please do not include footnotes or quotations in your work. If you want to include something
someone else has said then please summarise it in your own words, and provide the reference
in the body of your essay.

It is not necessary to undertake the exercise under timed conditions.

The essay should be written using a word processing package eg. Microsoft Word, Open
Office, Word Pad, WordPerfect etc.

We recommend that your answer is written using 1.5 line spacing.

Please submit a word count at the end of your piece of work.

The completed document must be saved using your 9 digit student reference number (SRN) as
the filename.

Please do not add your name to any part of your work.

The submission deadline is Monday 2nd March 2015 (23.59 UK time). Submissions will not be
accepted after this date.

Submissions will only be accepted via the plagiarism-prevention software on the VLE.

If you have any problems with the upload of your piece of work, please email
lawsonline@london.ac.uk before the deadline date explaining precisely what difficulties you are
experiencing.
