Valentines Day Cards


25 Points (Formative Category)
Write a message for each student. You must create a message that uses each of the following
literary devices. First, define each of the terms and write your messages on this document
first. Submit this work to the Dropbox. Then, you can make the cards. The cards you create
do not have to be elaborate. You can make several on a sheet of paper (on MS Word), cut, and
distribute.
Use each device at least once. Once you use each device, you can repeat the message for
another student.

Personification giving an object a humanlike quality


My oceans are depressed when you are gone.
Simile - a comparison using like or as
We go inevitable like a peanut butter and jelly.
Metaphor a comparison not using like or as
You are the candy in my tummy, so sweet
