Is the area surrounding the eyewash station free of all obstructions?


Is the unit free from sharp projections in the operating area of the unit?
Is the eyewash easily activated?
Are the nozzles equipped with protective covers?
Are the covers removed by activation of the eyewash?
Is the water flowing from both eyepieces?
Is the flow of water of equal height?
Is the flow of water clear?
If not initially clear, does flow become clear after 2 minutes?
Does the spray pattern deliver a steady stream of water or is
the flow further divided?
Does the flow continue until the unit is returned to its resting position?
Does the water drain properly from the basin/sink?
Is the water temperature constant and tepid?
Are there other concerns?
Is the flow switch alarmed in the respective control room
