What is Breast Cancer?
- It is a cancer found in the breast.
- A tumor that arises in the breast.
Breast Cancer is the NUMBER 1 leading cause of death in
women here in the Philippines.
Who are at risk of Breast Cancer?

Female
Smoking
Drinking alcohol
Older age
Obesity
Lack of physical activity/exercise
Early age at first menstruation
Having children late or not at all

Signs & Symptoms of Breast Cancer:

Lump
Skin dimpling
Change in color and texture
Change in how the nipple looks like, like pulling in of the
nipple.
Clear or bloody fluid that leaks out of the nipple.
Prevention:

Maintaining a healthy weight


Stop smoking
Drinking less alcohol
Being physically active
Breastfeeding

Self-breast examination involves feeling the breast for lumps


or other abnormalities.
What is Cervical Cancer?
- Is a type of cancer found in the cervix.
Cervical Cancer is the Number 2 leading cause of death in
women here in the Philippines.
Who are at risk of Cervical Cancer?

Female
Smoking
Drinking alcohol
HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)
Weak immune system
Starting sex at a younger age
Having multiple sexual partners

Prevention:

Pap smear screening


Stop smoking
Drinking less alcohol
Using of condoms
Nutrition
