breast cancer
A. Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a disease that is creepy, because breast cancer is a cancer
that can cause death. Malignant cells grow in the breast tissue is the forerunner
of breast cancer. In general, breast cancer tissue begins with growing bump.
For women to be aware of the bumps that arise in the breast area.

Breast cancer is generally divided into two categories, namely


non-invasive and invasive.

The most common form of invasive breast cancers are invasive


ductal breast cancer that develops in the cells forming the breast
duct.
cases of invasive breast cancer is a type of this kind.
Non-invasive form of cancer is typically discovered through
mammography because rarely cause bumps. This type is also often
called pre-cancer
Steps to Prevent Breast Cancer

 Keeping the weight


 Avoid alcohol
 Consuming fruits and vegetables
 Exercise regularly
 Reduce Fat
 Carbohydrate consumption corresponding portion
 Consuming soy products
 Minimize exposure to pharmacologic estrogens and xeno-
estrogens.

In addition, prevention can also be done by the method of
Self-exam. What's self exam?
Adult women of all ages are encouraged to perform
breast self-exams at least once a month.  Johns Hopkins
Medical center states,
“Forty percent of diagnosed breast cancers are detected
by women who feel a lump, so establishing a regular
breast self-exam is very important.”
While mammograms can help you to detect cancer
before you can feel a lump, breast self-exams help you to
be familiar with how your breasts look and feel so you
can alert your healthcare professional if there are any
changes.

 Step 1: Begin by looking at your breasts in the mirror with your


shoulders straight and your arms on your hips.
 tep 2: Now, raise your arms and look for the same changes.
 Step 3: While you're at the mirror, look for any signs of fluid
coming out of one or both nipples (this could be a watery, milky,
or yellow fluid or blood).
 Step 4: Next, feel your breasts while lying down, using your
right hand to feel your left breast and then your left hand to feel
your right breast.
 Step 5: Finally, feel your breasts while you are standing or
sitting.
B. Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer is cancer that occurs in the cervical
region. That is the area on the female reproductive organ
is the entrance to the uterus. It is located between the
womb (uterus) with hole intercourse lady (vagina).

In the early stages, the disease causes no symptoms are easily


observed. That's why, you are already sexually active are highly
recommended to perform a pap smear test every two years.
What exactly is the cause of cervical
cancer?
 First, cervical cancer is caused by HPV (Human Papilloma
Virus). This virus has more than 100 types, where most of
them are harmless and will disappear by itself.

 Second, in addition caused by the HPV virus, abnormal cells


on the cervix can also grow due to radiation exposure or
contamination of chemicals that occur in the long term.
Pap Smear
pap smear or Pap test is a check by taking a sample of
cervical cells, is then analyzed to detect early cervical
cancer.
What should be considered before
we do a Pap smear?
1. Pap smear should be done about 5 days after menstruation, or 10-20
days after the first day of menstruation so that your cervix clean from the
remains of menstrual blood.
2. In the two days before the Pap smear, you should avoid:? Cleaning the
vagina with soap cream or whatever, also douching (spraying the
medication or certain solution to the vagina vagina).
3. Should not take a bath before the Pap smear, as was feared when
soaking the remains of soap left behind a tau into the vagina.
4. If you are whitish, tell the person who checked out, including all the
complaints that you feel. For example feels itching, pain or heat (burning)
in the vagina.
5. If the results of Pap smears and less good (abnormal), do not forget to
notify your doctor.
