THIS IS MY STORY

Its been my four years as permanent teacher here in my own place in barangay
Pinamalisan Gabaldon Nueva Ecija and I was lucky for that because mostly new teachers were
assigned to different places. But in my case, I didnt know that one of the teachers here in the
school decided for her early retirement so I was designated in this school.
I am excited, to have a teaching job to practice my profession and to earn a living for my
family. It is more challenging because I have to be more creative, practical and use lots of
common sense in addressing the many concerns of the school with its limited learning resources
and being the only teacher in the barangay. I also established an excellent connection or
partnership with parents of the pupils in the barangay officials, addresses the problems with
explain the importance of a teacher listening to the concern of the community, of getting the full
support for the best education of their children.
I experience and observe many things. I could relate many favorable actuation to the
good treatment tendered by people both young and adults to a teacher. They are very sincere and
very warm. They consider a teacher their benefactor to whom they could openly express their
problems and even their secrets that is they trust the teacher.
In the programs of the government, local or national, the services of the teachers are
always needed. Like the national greening program and most likely during election time. And
thats why teachers selected because with known for our honesty and integrity. And this is an
honor for my profession. Its really nice to be a teacher, a joining commitment with a lot of
sacrifices, hard work, courage and determination.
