Prayer of a Student-

Teacher
O Lord, Almighty god thank you for all the
blessings that you had given to me especially for my
family. I thank you for all the sacrifices that you
have done for all the people here on earth. I thank
you for all teachers who have shown me to the real
world of teacher. Sorry for all my sin’s that I’ve
done. I’m sorry for all those responsibilities that I
haven’t been performed. I’m sorry for not being that
responsible as what you’ve expected me to be. I
wish that your guidance be with us always. Please
give all the people here on earth a peace of mind and
happiness. Give all the people strength and courage
to face all the challenges and obstacles as they face
their everyday lives. I wish that your love will
always be with us. Please bear all the people here on
earth to always love each other and treat everyone as
his or her family. I put everything about me is
because of you.

 First Day Journal

July 9, 2018, Monday is the day of being a practice teacher in my cooperating school
the Don Leon E. Dolor Memorial School. The moment of becoming a teacher begins 5:05 a.m. I
am so excited and nervous but I’m so happy because I here in this moment. I wear my pink OJT
uniform and I prepare myself to the biggest journey in my life. 6:30 a.m, I’ve already arrived in
Don Leon E. Dolor Memorial School. Our house is walking distance to the school. This school is
not different on my eye because these schools develops and build myself in the good person .I
am one of those alumnae of the school that’s why the environment is mostly familiar. When I
enter the gate my heart beat is so fast I don’t know why, it is because I’m nervous or I’m happy.
My feeling today is unexplainable.

When I arrived in principal office I finally meet my co-student teachers. We are eight
beautiful ladies and the three of them are my classmates. I am the chairwoman who responsible
in all task that we encounter inside and outside of the school. It is hard for me but I do my best to
become a good leader to my co-student teachers. I believe my co-student teachers help me to
make our journey successful and memorable. Before we meet our beautiful principal, Mrs. Eva
T. Leyesa. We help to clean the principal office. I am so nervous when I meet the principal
because she newly principal in this school and my first expression to her is terror teacher. I am
the first who talk the principal and ask me some questions regarding to our OJT and I prove that
the principal is not terror she’s good and very humble person. Afterwards we finally meet the
beautiful principal. We had orientation with her. She gives us some advices and about those
things that we must need to learn and adopt. She tells the rules and regulation in the school and
she gives us cooperating teacher and the subject to the final demonstration. Lastly, she gives a
schedule in one week observation before we start our local demonstration. After orientation the
principal decided to introduce us to her colleague. They welcomed us with their beautiful smile
on their face, some teacher are not familiar to me because they newly teachers also my
cooperating teacher. She is gorgeous lady and I think I gained a lot of knowledge to her. My
cooperating teacher is Mrs. Clea B. Perile and my subject in the final demonstration is Science,
my cooperating students are grade V-Pisces. After introducing we stay in canteen and we help
tita Baby and tita Nida the person that responsible in canteen. And also we help Ma’am Aisa in
Feeding Program.

In afternoon we decided that we have a lunch to our house then we come back to
school exactly 1:00 p.m. We stay in Principal Office temporary. Our first day ends at 3:30 pm.
This day is memorable and I believe this is the beginning of being a teacher. This is the first step
of developing our skills in teaching. Tomorrow is another day.
 Last Day Journal

November 26, 2018, this is the day of saying goodbye. I want to stay in
this place in prolong but we need to face the reality that we need to say good bye.
Because staying in Don Leon E. Dolor Memorial School is transitory. When I give
the pull out letter to the principal I know that this is a goodbye to the school, that
help us to improve ourselves, to the principal, Mrs. Eva T. Leyesa, that give us a
chance and accept us, to the 16 teachers that guide us, help us and being a part of
our live, to the canteen members, especially the canteen that we eat different food,
we missed the lomi and the sopas, to the pupils that we part of my life, to my
beautiful and lovable cooperating teacher that give me a more knowledge and
advices and especially the support and the person that did not give up to me. And
saying goodbye to my cooperating students the Grade V-Pisces, my favorite
students that I missed so much, the “Kulitan” moment and saying beautiful phrases
to me and I know they love me. In this moment I want to say thank you to all
opportunity that they give us. The experiences that we treasure a lot like being a
part of any program. Being Chairwoman of seven Beautiful ladies I say that I did
my best and I take my responsibility.

To my Co-student teacher I’ll gonna miss the “kulitan” and “asaran”

moment. Of course I miss the “sermonan”. I miss also sharing food to each other.
We made a family in this school. I don’t forget the experiences, the advices, and
everything in this school. Being a part of this school we have gained more
knowledge and we develop ourself and we build a good friendship. Before us
saying goodbye we accomplished all the things that we needed like the DTR and
the portfolio of Local Demo. Everyone go to principal office to say goodbye in
beautiful principal and take a pictures then, she allowed us to say goodbye in all
teachers especially in our cooperating teacher. It is a very hard to say goodbye but
we need to go to another place to make our journey success. I miss everything in
this school.

school with small population, approximately
500 pupils and they have 16 teachers with
the principal Mrs. Eva T. Leyesa.
Teachers are showing very much concern
to their handle students and also to all
students that part of the school. Giving time
and effort to all academics and
extracurricular activities.
