ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This narrative report is the fruit of our experiences as a Student Teacher for the past few
months, but the success of this narrative report will not be achieved without the people who helped us
accomplish everything we have managed to do that are written here.

To our parent for their unending love and support for providing all we need financially and
morally for their patience and understanding. For their pieces of advice and for being there at all time

To the institution where we are studying, Dr. Francisco L. Calingasan Memorial College Foundation
Inc, where we were molded.

To the Cooperating School where we are part of our teaching internship that shared imparted the
knowledge for us to acquire a better future.

To all our Cooperating Teachers, for making sure we were guided properly and given the chance to
grow as an individual; for sharing their knowledge, wisdom and skills towards our overall growth and giving
us constructive criticism for our development.

To everyone who became a part of our success. To our friends, classmates and to everyone who have
shown support.

Above all, to our Almighty God for His immeasurable love and for all the blessings He has
showered upon me. With all my heart and soul, I thank Him for guiding me during my practice teaching. For
the provisions and wisdom, He has bestowed upon me. For keeping me and love ones safe. I thank Him for
His comfort when I was to give up. By His grace I was able to finish without any conflict.
DEDICATION

As well as everything that We do, we would be honored to dedicate this compilation

to our parents. The two person that gave the tools and values necessary to be where we are standing today.

Our parents support us in every step We make, and decisions We take; but is necessary to understand that

they let us take our decisions alone for us to learn from our personal mistake. We will never finish to thank

our parents for all the opportunities that they have offer and gave us, for all the teachings that they have told

us and for every advice that come out to their mouth. We are so graceful with them for trusting us that we

would do a good job.

So that’s why we dedicate this portfolio to our parents, who expect our efforts on

everything that we do, and we think that this compilation is the perfect image and reflection of our effort and

hard work in our practice teaching.

A TEACHER’S PRAYER

Giver of all Wisdom and Greatest of all Teachers, look upon our teachers with love. Grant them the resolve

to nurture our eager mind sand to never give up on us who fall behind. Bless their hearts for they rejoice

when we succeed and encourage us when we fail. Endowing them with gentle patience for the path of

learning is never easy. Kindle a spirit of passion in them. It is the flame that ignites the love of learning in

us.Help them to see the potential in each student. Their belief in us means much more than the grade we

make.Instill them a commitment to keep on learning. It shows us to not fear new knowledge and

experiences. Inspire them to touch the future. They influence how big a dream we dream for ourselves.

Bless our teachers who have come before for their work endures to this day. Let the light of Your example

shine upon all teachers. To build up with their words. To love with their mind.To share with their heart.

EXPERIENTIA
L LANDSCAPE
OF OUR
PRACTICE
TEACHING
INTRODUCTION

The student teaching program is one of the most important parts of training undertaken by any
Education student. It is the time where years and years of learning are put to test by making them apply the
knowledge they gathered to authentic, real life teaching in an actual school setting. Student teachers serve as
unpaid interns in different schools in the span of a few months. In the schools, they experience the actual
process of teaching, which includes the visual aid instructions of the students and for the students, the paper
works connected to teaching and the lessons and the relationships between different people they encounter
on a daily basis inside the school setting. Practice teaching is the practical implementation of the information
and strategies that students have learned. The student teacher practice what they have learned and are
supervised by teachers from the college, cooperating teacher and school principals.

The purpose of practice teaching is to produce qualified teachers that are equipped and skilled in their
chosen year level. Another reason is to prepare student teachers by immersing them completely into the
school atmosphere so that they will have the feel of what it would be like to be an actual teacher.

To be a student teacher or to have practice teaching is an integral and important part of all teacher
training programs. It is a practical and hands-on type of work that will really prepare and train would be
teachers in the real battle field of teaching that is why it is highly valued compared the other courses during
the training of future teachers like me.

The student teaching experience is frequently cited having the highest impact on the teaching
behaviors of candidate teachers. And for me, my student teaching experience was the most meaningful
portion of my professional preparation as a educator.

By browsing in this narrative report, you will have a glimpse of what took place during my practice
teaching period – the learning experience are bitter, yet fruitful; the hardships and struggles I’ve gone
through as I strive to reach my goal of becoming a full pledge teacher; the memories that will forever carve
in my heart; and the fulfillment of my teaching experience.
I’d be happy to share with you all these experience in my journey and my you also be inspired to
follow the steps of our Great Teacher – Jesus Christ.
