History of the Subcontinent

Lahore Resolution
Lahore Resolution which was also known as the Resolution of
Pakistan was passed in 23rd March 1940 in the Minto Park which
now days known as Iqbal Park of Lahore. In Urdu the Lahore
Resolution is known as the Qarardad-e-Lahore and Pakistan
Resolution is known as the Qarardad-e-Pakistan.
In 22nd March 1940 All India Muslim League was established
their Annual conference in Lahore Minto Park which situated near
Badshahi Mosque in Lahore. In this conference Sir Shah Nawaz
Mamdot who was the president of all Indian Muslim League was
addresses to welcome all people and leaders in Minto (Iqbal) Park.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was also in this conference.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah also addressed the audience
and mention that Problem of Subcontinent will not be solved until
we divided it into two parts like Hindus and Muslims. Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah said I requested to British government that in
those areas where Muslims population is greater than Hindus, made
a separate homeland for all Muslims in Subcontinent. All muslims
leaders from All India Muslim league mention their addresses the
dream of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
At last by the great hard work and struggle the Lahore
(Pakistan) Resolution was adopted on 24th March 1940. But official
we celebrate the Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution in 23rd March of
every year. Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution was the first step towards
making the separate homeland for the Muslims of Sub continent.
After adoption Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution Quaid-e-Azam, All
Muslim League leaders and Muslims in Sub Continent Struggle Hard
day and night and they succeed to put out the Pakistan after
passing seven years in the World map. Pakistan became a
independent country in 14th August 1947.
The Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution was the big achievement of
Muslims in Subcontinents to complete their dreams. The place
where Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution was passed in 23rd or 24th
March 1940 made a tower of Pakistan which is also known as the
Minar-e-Pakistan which was made in 1960 in the Government of
General Ayub Khan. This Minar-e-Pakistan is situated in Minto (Iqbal)
Park Lahore and alo 60 meter tall. 23rd March is celebrated in
Pakistan every year memorialize the Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution. In
23rd March is also announced as the national holiday in Pakistan to
celebrate the Lahore (Pakistan) Resolution memories and also in the
memory of Pakistas declaration as Islamic Republic in 23rd March
1956.
