In a floral design class, Bianca created a Valentine's Day arrangement by first adding water to a vase and then measuring and cutting carnation stems. She placed leather-leaf greenery in the vase and staggered the carnations in front. Bianca added baby's breath filler and secured a bow before selling and delivering the arrangement through her school on Valentine's Day.

In Floral Design Class, we created arrangements to give out though the
school on Valentines Day. We had to purchase carnations, greenery, filler, ribbon and the vase bulbs. Before I began with the arrangement I added some water in the vase. I began by grabbing three carnations of the same color, then measured them by the vase and cut the stems diagonally to the length. After, I grabbed some pieces of leather-leaf; I placed them in the vase on how they looked best. Then I placed the flowers in front of the leather-leaf and cut then so that the flowers were staggered. After, my flowers and my leather-leaf were placed in the vase; I briefly added some babys breath. I made sure all the stems were touching the water. Finally, after my arrangement was completed I added a shoe-tied bow. We sold the arrangements for 10 dollars and delivered them on Valentines Day.
