This source is one of the most valuable sources present for our research. This guide gives
important information on how to assess emotional abuse, along with ways to respond to it.
It lists important factors to consider, along with the many different tactics. This will be
extremely useful to examine young girls in Niger Africa, how might have experienced
emotional abuse.

Center of Science and Education. This journal talks about forced marriages in Nigeria, and
how it is violating womens human rights. This source argues that even though there has
been things done to try and prevent child marriages in these regions, culture stills plays a
role in continuing marrying young girls off.

conducted by Claudia Bentheim. This gathered information is very reliable because it
consists of actual research. The research was done specifically in Africa, so it pertains to our
project perfectly.

This site gave a lot of statistical information that will be used in our blog. It gave specific
information on Niger, Africa as well as other important places like, Bangladesh and

Ethiopia. Although our project is focusing mostly on Africa, our blog will make connections

This is a perfect article that will be used our blog. The article is about a young girl who
poised her husband. This shows the struggle of what a lot of girls could be going through.
The only difference is that this girl had the courage to fight back.

This source gives reliable information on the health consequences of child marriage in
Africa. It focuses a lot on diseases, and how it can be prevented. Although our studies are
not focusing on the disease aspect, it still gives our project a base-line with background

abuse while examining how children who experience sexual violence are more likely to
engage in more sexual behaviors. This source also gives a lot of information on issues such
as bullying, sex, marriage, and human rights. All of these could be important factors to our
research on child forced marriages.

Rita Mutyaba, an author of the International Journal of Childrens Rights, strongly
believes that girls fundamental human rights are continuing to be violated by African
countries and that it needs to be stopped. Although Rita Mutyabas side on the position
was emotional and biased, her judgment was supported in a professional matter with
sources, and facts. This made her article satisfyingly reliable. Throughout the article,
Mutyaba supports her position by citing information in MLA format.
