MONDAY
Independent Reading:
This week, students will choose their own
reading. They will then identify two forms of
assessment for themselves one of these will
involve development of multiple choice skills,
while the other will be written and show reading
comprehension on a deep level.
One assessment will be due on Wednesday and
one will be due on Friday. Forms of assessment
will be approved by the instructor on Monday.
After quickly identifying their chosen forms of
assessment today, students will then work on
completing this work with the aid of the
instructor.
TUESDAY
Learning Target: Students will improve their
skills in reading comprehension, writing and
vocabulary development. They will show their
learning by indentifying two valid forms of
assessment and completing at least two
paragraphs of the written assessment.

Vocabulary quiz.

(1C) Learning Target: Students will improve their
ability to be successful on the PARCC
assessment. They will show their learning by
completing an approved practice exercise.
