From our Principal...

Congratulations to the newly elected 2015-16 Teacher of the Year,

Aaron Sellers. Mr. Sellers is a fifth grade teacher who goes above
and beyond to ensure that his students are learning at high levels.
He provides interactive lessons focused on the State Adopted
Standards and infused with technology. We are proud to have him
as our school representative.
Congratulations to the newly elected 2015-16 Support Employee of
the Year, Meredith MacLeod. Ms. MacLeod is the Expectations
Coach who teaches and supports appropriate behavior in the
classroom. She works with students who need additional strategies
to keep them focused on learning. We are proud to have her as our
school representative.
Both of these staff members were elected and voted by their
colleagues for this honor. They were both chosen because of their
dedication to students, coupled with their can-do positive
attitude. If you see them, be sure to congratulate them and show
your appreciation for the superb job they do at SOES MEDIA
Magnet. They Make a Difference because what they do
MATTERS!

between 2:00 and 2:40 pm.

Students are not dismissed from

the office at the end of the day.

Celebrations - remember our

healthy eating during classroom
celebrations. Please do not bring
full size cupcakes - only miniature
cupcakes are allowed. Candy is
not permitted.

Fast Food (for breakfast or lunch)

and soft drinks are not permitted.
This applies to students and
parents/guardians.

Please return your childs signed

interim/report card jacket to your
childs teacher.

Please pay all financial obligations

for your child as soon as possible.
