The titling of the Annabelle poster present

the main title of the poster in red, placed at

the bottom to connote a sense of danger as
the colour red is associated with
connotations of blood .contrastingly we
wanted to have ours white placed in the
middle an bold in order to make it stand out
allot more as it is the thing that the viewers
will look at first.

We made the image of the mask on our poster

appear animated and cartoon looking. This idea
was also inspired by the poster of Annabelle as
we felt it was incredibly effective looking due to
it making the doll look as threatening and scary.
we create this by using the paint brush tool
which further brought out the colouring in the
mask to be brighter and look hand drawn to give
it that cartoony feel.

one horror film poster

that has inspired us
with our film poster of
the final plea is
Annabelle. As we liked
the composition and
framing of with
annabelle doll being
the main focus of the
poster expressed
through the close up.
however it is placed on
the right side with only
half the face present
creating a ominous feel
and a sense of
mystery , which is a
feel we would also like
to portray within our
poster, therefore we
also placed our masked
character on the left
side of our landscape
poster with only half
the face present which
worked effectively in
creating a sense of fear
and the genre of horror.
To put main focus on
the clown face we
blacked out the rest of
the background using
the paint tool in order
to create a sense of the
unknown and mystery
as well, in order for the
audience to have most
of their attention
looking at the
uncomfortable scary
mask. By making the
background black it
also further eemphases
this ominous and
gloomy feel which is
out main aim just like
the film poster of
Annabelle
