Santa Fe, NM Its well-known that Senate boss Michael Sanchez has the power to delay a
floor vote if he doesnt want something to pass his chamber. Case in point: Sanchez stalled the
confirmation of Public Education Secretary Hanna Skandera for four years because he knew
there were enough votes in the Senate to confirm her.
Dont take our word for it. Heres a direct quote from Sanchez after Skandera was confirmed last
