Two Camps... A Million Possibilities!
Staying up late. Worshiping God. Playing sports. Great conversations. It's camp!

Campamento Juventil
After spending 18 hours on a bus with a rowdy group of college students,
Hans attended a college retreat in Tarija (in the southernmost part of
Bolivia). Over 400 students came from all over the country to be
challenged in their faith, spend time with friends, and of course, have a
lot of fun! During his week in Tarija, our supervisor, Dan, officially
moved Hans from language and culture study to ministry work.
Congratulations, Hans!

Sports Camp
One week after Hans returned home to Cochabamba, we were both off to BLESS
Volleyball Camp, where we spent four days with college students who play on the
volleyball team sponsored by WorldVenture Bolivia. While at the retreat, several
interesting things happened...

One night after dinner, a player came up to Hans with a question would we
consider mentoring him and his girlfriend as they begin their relationship? This
was an exciting request for us and we're looking forward to spending time with
this couple in the future! Volleyball practice!

The second night of the retreat was "Improv Night" and when Ariel (the college pastor that works with
BLESS) found out that Lindsay was part of an improv group in college he elicited her help. With her
suggestion the students played "Murder" and Lindsay had a blast improving again. She is now exploring
options to use improv as a ministry tool with college students and has a dream to create an improv group right
here in Cochabamba!

After spending time with a BLESS player in Tarija and at sports camp, Hans plans to meet regularly with him
for discipleship. They've known each other since we arrived in Bolivia, but significantly deepened their
relationship while traveling in January.
Blessings!
As you can see, a lot happened while we were on the road!
We're excited to see what God is going to do next!
