HYACINTHIANS GO RETRO:

San Jacinto seminary Christmas Celebration

Sem. Romer Christian C. Sobrevilla
The Spirit Christmas, the joy of the birth of our lord Jesus
Christ, a cause for us the whole Roman Catholic community to celebrate and that is
what we did last ______________, we the seminarians celebrated the essence of
Christmas through a grand retro party. The said activity was held in the San Jacinto
Seminary gymnasium, together with the staff, teachers, formators and of course we
the seminarians.
The seminarians dressed in their best retro attires started off
with a short prayer, with that the party began, the first part consisted of the parlor
games, namely: egg tossing and catching, the monstrous eating contest and the
best of the parlor games was out of this world dance showdown of the seminarians.
Annually during the classroom Christmas party there is a contest in which the
seminarian who has the best dress receives special rewards, and for these year the
winner of the contest were: Sem. Jhon Ivan Aquino ( for the fourth year) Sem. Rovic
Rola (for the third year), Sem. Lassen Engay (second year) and Sem. Russel Pasinca
(for the first year). After the energy draining games and contests the seminarians
ate dinner together, what an enjoyable night, stories shared, pictures taken and
memories that would last for a life time.
And what better way to end a Christmas party by, exhibiting the
true nature of Christmas, which is giving and exchanging gifts. What joys and
delight it was to see every one of us in the community having a great time and
enjoying the company of one another, indeed the season of Christmas brings every
one together.
