Product Project

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Products
Why?
Galaxy S line was recently working on the reboot of their line in order to come
up with a fresh new idea which can be able to compete with the famous IPhone
6 which came out on the market few months ago.

How?
To get to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, Samsung says it had to start from zero. It
means taking a step back and opening up the design process to feedback,
listening to the complaints of both professionals and consumers regarding
Samsungs previous design choices, and then building anew from there.

Target Market
Targeting their biggest competitors customers:
Apple users and try to bring them back to the
Samsung market.
It includes young adults from 14 to 30 years old
which are at the top of the technology.

Recommendations
Samsung's Mobile phone profit margins are only 17%, We
recommend cutting the massive Marketing budget and finding
more effective ways to spend those marketing dollars.
Recommend a lower price for a larger market. Reduce the price
in order to have a competitive advantage for compete with their
biggest competitors: The iPhone 6.
Find ways for competition to augment or compliment the S6
Deviate from direct competition with Apple products, there are
too many accusations of Galaxy products being unoriginal or
copycats of Apple.
