Comparative study of effective population issues for social life of Iran and
Tajikistan

Abstract
The issue of population situations of society is considerable form the view of sociology
which if this ignore, unfavorable conditions could be generated for social life of people as
well as social life of society could be jeopardized. The goal of present paper is to recognize
and compare effective population issues of social life of Iran and Tajikistan. Exploratory and
field studies are used, considering to existing cultural similarities between two countries,
researcher for recognizing try to use valid indexes (83 cases) form population issues of Iran
and Tajikistan as well as resources, documents and primary interview .First of all, some
papers were given to fifty Iranian experts of human science and forty eight Tajik experts in
order to recognize the important population issues of their countries. Then, the questionnaires
which were mentioned in the most twelve important issues of two countries were given to
four hundred Iranian and Tajik people in order to recognize their important population issues
which eclipse social structures of each society till it can be presented required administrative
procedures proportionate with existing social conditions. The results indicate some of the
most
important
population
issues
of
Iran
including
affordable
housing,
divorce,
underdevelopment, shortage and aging housing, rising age of marriage also some of
important population issues of Tajikistan are: labor migration to abroad, plenty of migration
to abroad, plenty of migration from rural to urban areas, high population growth rate, housing
shortage. The results imply that existing population issues and ignoring those can be effective
on social sustainability and life as well as process of social growth and development.
