My name is Josip Tito, former leader of Yugoslavia
From 1945 to 1980, I kept tight control over the multi-ethnic Bosnia
Due to my success from maintaining peace between ethnic, religious, and nationalist groups:
I was viewed as a unifying symbol, that is . . . until my death, when the lives of the greater
Yugoslavia began to dwindle
This was because Slobodan Milosevic asserted control over Yugoslavia: he was the new Serbian
leader
But the Serbs opposed Milosevic: he was another version of the grim reaper
So citizens then fled the country, increasing ethnic displacement
So many lives lost, was it still possible for Muslim replacement?
I watched the bloody scene from the clouds above, looking down at what was my old nation
Only to find families emit frustration and the country to suffer with no salvation
What happened to my preserve of cultural fervor?
It was that in June 1991, the Serbian-led Yugoslav army fostered ethnic murder
The multi-ethnic republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina quickly became the site of the deadliest
warfare
Nevertheless the target of an ethnic cleansing and complete Bosnia despair
Ethnic cleansing? What happened to our allies defending?
This policy was intended to rid Bosnia of its Muslim population
We needed the United States or the United Nations to come help with the nations mending
But the US was too busy handling a Persian disputation
And the UN just acted carelessly unrelenting
Disappointed in our allies to say the least
When will this genocide exceed some peace?
Luckily Slovenia and Croatia were able to declare independence
Even though its too bad for Bosnia that its problems still need amendment

It wasnt until 1995 when the disputes in Bosnia were slowly restored
With the help of NATO, Bill Clinton saved Bosnia with the Dayton Peace Accord
