Overall, you have great ideas in your philosophy. Be sure to show ownership of your philosophy. For
example, in paragraph 6 tell what YOU are going to do, NOT what teachers do. This is your
philosophy with your ideas. In paragraph 3, instead of the phrase know how, use knowledge of
welding. In paragraph 4, you need to make two sentences where it says This applies to learning
styles. As a teacher, I will. Remember in paragraph 6 that teachers do not learn. They teach.
Students learn. Paragraph 7 is a little confusing. I think a few sentences need to be reworded in
order to make better sense. Instead of the phrase gotten it down in paragraph 7, you could say An
example would be observing the students weld to assess if they have mastered the process and if not,
reteach the proper techniques.
