There are 18 villages in Thulluru mandal as
Thulluru as the head quarters for this mandal,2
villages in Tadepalli mandal, 5 villages in
Mangalagiri mandal and four hamlets.

CLIMATE AND GEOGRAPHY

CLIMATE: The average annual temperature is


28.5 C and annual rain fall is about 905mm.
SOIL: The soils in general are very fertile and
they are broadly classified as Black cotton, Red
loamy and sandy loamy. Black cotton area is in
70%, Red loamy in 24% and sandy loamy in
about 6% of the area in the region.
