What is Brain cancer??

Cancer is the general name for a group of more than 100 diseases. Although there are
many kinds of cancer, all cancers start because abnormal cells grow out of control.
Untreated cancers can cause serious illness and death.

Cancer starts when cells in a part of the body start to grow out of control. Cancer cell
growth is different from normal cell growth. Instead of dying, cancer cells continue to
grow and form new, abnormal cells. Cancer cells can also invade (grow into) other
tissues, Growing out of control and invading other tissues are what makes a cell a
cancer cell.

Mitosis and Cancer

Mitosis is cell division so it'd

relate in any way. Cancer is the
uncontrolled division of
abnormal cells in a part of the
body; making it so the cells
cannot split like they're
originally supposed to.

Symptoms of Brain Cancer

The following symptoms are most common:

Headache, especially in the early mornings

Weakness which is often more evident on one side than

another

Clumsiness

Difficulty walking

Seizures

Other nonspecific symptoms and signs include the following:

Altered mental status: changes in concentration, memory,

attention, or alertness

Nausea, vomiting: especially early in the morning

Abnormalities in vision

Difficulty with speech

Gradual changes in intellectual or emotional capacity

Possible Causes of Brain Cancer

Causes of brain cancer are

difficult to prove; avoiding
compounds linked to cancer
production is advised.

Brain cancer can arise from

many different types of brain
cells (primary brain cancer) or
occur when cancer cells from
another part of the body spread
(metastasize) to the brain.

But technology could be a

reason too.

Treatment for Brain Cancer

Treatment for brain cancer should be individualized for each patient.

Treatment plans are based on the patient's age and general health
status as well as the size, location, type, and grade of the tumor. In
most cases of brain cancer, surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy are
the main types of treatment.
