5 Years From Now..

I see myself married to my current girlfriend. We no longer live in our apartment
but our very own house. We own two or three dogs a.k.a children! I am a
Certified Veterinary Tech with a full time job. I fixed my credit so I am able to
purchase things I want and need. I am happy and healthy and still have the same
passion I have for helping people as I do today.

If I had to live my life over..

I am a big advocate that everything in life happens for a reason. However, if I had to
change some things in life, I would start with paying more attention in grade school.
Perhaps, if I would have listened more than I wouldnt have been involved with the
bad crowd. Id change the fact that I ever chose to use drugs which led me down a
very long and dark road. It took me almost 8 years to get off of Heroin and I am JUST
now getting back to school at age 26. I have ruined my credit, created a criminal
background, lost most material possessions I once had and essentially had to start at
square one. Although Ive made some pretty terrible choice in my life, it has all molded
me into who I am today. I honestly wouldnt change that for the world. Had I never
been on drugs, I never would have met my friends in recovery, moved to Baltimore, met
my girlfriend or got my 1st year clean!
