RELATIONS WITH THE ACCIDENT USER BEHAVIOUR VEHICLE

SAFETY MOTORCYCLE ON STUDENT SMAN I KENDARI 2015

ABSTRACT

Safety behavior is the action associated with the factors of traffic safety in
riding a motorcycle. Traffic accidents occur when a state simultaneously at a
given point in time is difficult to predict exactly where and when an accident will
happen. The purpose of this study to determine the safety of the user behavior
relationship motorcycle at SMAN 1 Kendari Year 2015. This type of research is
descriptive analytic cross-sectional study design. The population is all students of
class XI with a number of 217 students and a sample of 96 students. Sampling
technique using proportional random sampling. The results of the study showed
that there was no relationship between knowledge and behavior on User Safety
Vehicles Motorcycles in SMAN 1 Kendari (X2 arithmetic = 1.760, Value =
0.185), there was no relationship between attitude and behavior users safety on
motorcycles (X2 arithmetic = 2.164, Value = 0.141), and there was a significant
association between measures of safety on user behavior motorcycles (X2
arithmetic = 4.720, Value = 0.030, Ro = 0.224) .Recommended order for the
school to supervise the students who ride a motorcycle to school and socialization
as well as traffic rules in cooperation with the traffic unit. In addition, the need for
the role of parents in providing support to child-related behaviors such as warning
and

advice.
