Waco Foundation and Todays Action Tomorrows Leaders are pleased to announce the
new class of participants in the LeadershipPlenty Institute. Thirty-nine individuals were
selected from a group of talented applicants to take part in the leadership skills
development program.
The LeadershipPlenty Institute is a part of the Community Vision Project, an initiative created
by 2004 Waco Mayor Dr. Mae Jackson. The late Dr. Jackson formed a strategic plan to
grow and develop the city of Waco. One component of the plan was to engage
leaderswhich is what the LeadershipPlenty Institute aims to accomplish.
The LeadershipPlenty Institute was rolled out in Waco in 2011 and has continued to grow.
This year, the LeadershipPlenty Institute chose 39 candidates to participate.
