With our barrier presenations I was able to learn more about the education barriers that some
children may deal with. The presentations were all about latch key children, grief, eating
disorders, and the list goes on. Through these presentations I was able to learn a little bit more
about identifying characteristics involved with barriers. These experiences benefited me in my
decision to be an educator. They taught me how many factors can effect a childs education.
The expierences will help me during internship with identifying when a child is in danger of
falling victim to a barrier.
