Basic course for lifting and lowering loads, using 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 pulley systems.

Who

Qualified Fall Arrest and Rope Access Level 1 technicians, that need to lift and lower loads of up to 150 kg.

3. Letter stating medical fitness for Work at Height
4. Safety Boots/Shoes (with steel toe caps)
5. All Students must be able to read, write & do mathematics in English to grade 10

Anchors and anchor points
Basic inspections and care of lifting equipment
Course Content: Part 2 - Rope Rigging
Hauling Systems (1:1 max 15kg; 1:2 max 50kg; 1:3 max 90 to 150kg)
Knots
Hauling of various shaped objects (Horizontal Lifting; Vertical Lifting)
Centre of gravity
Guide ropes and control
Freeboard/Headroom
Anchors and anchor points
Equipment Limits
