Always monitor battery status. If the output voltage of battery is too low it may cause abnormal operation.

2.3 Power and battery check

Check the status on battery immediately upon power-up. If the battery status is LOW, the controller may
not be able to operate the antenna line device(s) adequately. And cut off the input power into the ALD device

5.3 Log Data Clear

The PAC-A will save ALD status and control information. When connected to an antenna which has been
deployed parameters such as BTS ID, SECTOR ID, Antenna Model, Control Type, Tilt Angle and Alarms are
logged in memory. If the memory space is already full, then the new log information will replace the old
information. Therefore it is strongly recommended to back up the data to a more permanent storage device
and delete the PAC-A memory for saving the log data.

The LOG DATA CLEAR menu performs this

operation.

Move to STEERING screen using REV key, and then the screen displays current azimuth in degrees.
THIS IS NOT THE ABSOLUTE AZIMUTH BUT RATHER THE SETTING RELATIVE TO THE ANTENNAS

antennas have no internal azimuth adjust, and therefore, this function serves no purpose.
If you want to change the azimuth setting, you can use the number key or arrow key. The

8. Get Log Data

8.1 PAC-A Log Data description
If you operate the Tilt and Steering from PAC-A, you can save the DATE, TIME, BTS ID, SECTOR ID,
Antenna Model, Azimuth and Tilt Degree settings, and Alarm.
PAC-A can save 100 Data Log entries. If you exceed 80% or the memory capacity, you will see a caution
message. If the message exceeds over 100, it automatically saves the most recent Log Entry and discards
the oldest.

8.2 Using PAC-A Log Data

8.2.1

First, the RS-232 communication protocol must be established:
