Abstract Expressionism Museum of Art Teaches New Kensington Arnold
Schools to Express Yourself
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (March 1, 2015) The Abstract Expressionism Museum of Art will
be hosting their Express Yourself Workshop to support the New Kensington Arnold
School District on Saturday May 9, 2015.

Why:

The Museum is built on a foundation of creativity and self-expression,

and believes in the encouragement of these practices in youth. The
Abstract Expressionism Museum of Art is hosting the Express Yourself
Workshop to improve childrens ability to cope with stressors,

creating happier individuals that comprise the next generation.

The proceeds will purchase art supplies for the New Kensington
Arnold School District including:
Paints
Brushes
Sketchbooks
Pencils
And so much more
Admission is $5 for each child and their families are encouraged to
participate with their children.

from the majority of other museums by solely exhibiting abstract artwork. The artwork is
created in various mediums in order to break the social stereotype that art must be realistic.

The Abstract Expressionism Museum displays work that evokes emotions within the
audience, connecting with each individual on an intimate level.
