How to Study for a Math Exam

*When studying for an exam, you have two main goals:

1.) Learn the material so you can excel on the exam.
2.) Learn the material well enough that it will carry on throughout the
semester.

1.) Start Fresh!

Review lecture notes from the beginning of the unit.

Review Homework from the unit, along with homework quizzes.

2.) Unit Test Review

Before each unit test, I will give you an exam review. Rework the review
several times.
** Makeup an exam for yourself!!

3.) Rework

Look over problems that you may have difficulties with.

4.) The afternoon before exam day:

Start from tip # 2, rework review and the exam you made up.
Do not study too long, you want to rest your hard working brain.

5.) The day of exam:

Look over notes and be prepared to ACE your test.
