EOC Exam

Before EOC:
1. MEMORIZE all formulas:
 Double-sided formula sheet
 Rules for Transformations
 Quiz yourself with the blank formula sheets provided
2. Rewatch the constructions videos and know the steps.
3. Pay attention to big topics: Transformations, Circles, 3D geometry (Volume,
Surface Area, Density..), Congruent Triangles, Proofs, Constructions, ….
4. Complete DeltaMath Reviews #1, 2 & 3!!! You goal is 100%, not 80%.
5. Continue to complete the problems in your Full Year Review Packet.
6. Check DeltaMath Review grades in Pinnacle and improve them.
7. Acquire an EOC approved calculator if not yet done.

The EOC Exam:

1. Show up for your two-day exam
 Day 1 - no calculator
 Day 2 – calculator allowed
2. WRITE DOWN ALL YOUR FORMULAS AS SOON AS YOU ARE
INSTRUCTED TO BEGIN YOUR TEST.
3. Read and re-read questions to ensure you are correctly answering them.
Round answers properly.
4. Draw and label diagrams to help you understand and solve problems.
5. Check your answers. Ask yourself: Is my answer reasonable?
6. Use the graph paper on the back of your work sheet to help you visualize and
complete problems.
7. Complete all the questions you can do first, then go back to the more
difficult questions.
8. Use ALL the extra time you are allowed!! Everybody gets extra time. Don’t
rush!
9. Bring a jacket.
