William golding essay
William Gerald Golding was a british writer, poet and
playwright. He was born on September 19th 1911 in
Cornwall, England. He graduate with honors in English
literature, and was part of the royal navy, and is known for
his multiple books.
He attended to Marlborough grammar school, where his
father Alec Golding worked, and then to Brasenose College,
Oxford. He started studying natural science, but after two
years he transferred to English and philosophy. He graduated
in 1934 and in that year he published his first book called
poems. In 1939 he married Ann Brookfield and had two
children. In 1940 he joined the Royal Navy and fought in
WWII. When he returned he restart teaching at the Bishop
Wordsworths School.
In 1954 he published one of his most recognized novels,
Lord of the flies. This book was rejected by twenty-one
publishing houses, but when it came out, it became a
success.
Goldings writing style consist of classical literature with
mythological symbols, and all his novels are different one
from the other.(different from one another. )

Golding receive the Nobel prize of literature in 1983, and in


1988 he was knighted by the Queen Elizabeth II. William
Golding died in 1993 in Perranarworthal, Cornwall.
A good start. Though you are missing the conclusion I asked
for, suggesting why you think his life affected his work.
You have some mistakes with verb conjugation here that
could do with some re-examination.
