The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest wonders of the world.

Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and
plateaus, the wall is a maximum 9 m wide and the highest point of the wall is around 8 m, its stretching
approximately 8,850 KM from east to west of China.
It made of a number of different sections were being built as early as the 7th century BC. It was made of stone,
brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials.
The Wall has on and off been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the existing wall is from
the Ming Dynasty
The main purpose of the Great Wall of China was protection against attacks and invasions from the north.
With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are destroyed or have disappeared. However, its
considered as the longest structure ever built by human.
