The Social Jus,ce Empowerment Workshop at 10:00 was


created by the Rev. Richard ``Bud`` Murphy. He is Vice President
of UU JusQce Florida hMp://www.uujusQce.org/ Bud will lead
us in exercises that will bring clarity to our moQvaQon, and
release our power to make a dierence in Social JusQce.

The Environmental Jus,ce Workshop at 1:45 will build on

President of Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth
hMp://uuministryforearth.org/ and Bob Keim will help us grow
hope and eecQve acQon as we build sustainability.

The Racial Jus,ce Workshop at 1:45 will start o with a discussion led by Bill Turner and Barbara
Woshinsky from the UU CongregaQon of Miami on white privilege and structural racism, and how we
can become stronger allies in the struggle for racial jusQce. Following that will be a presentaQon by the
Rev. Kevin Jones. He is Co-President of PEACE (People Engaged in AcQve Community Eorts) in Palm
Beach County, hMp://thedartcenter.org/locaQon/peace-2/ the largest grassroots organizaQon working
for jusQce in Palm Beach.

The Escala,ng Inequality workshop at 3:15 is the Unitarian Universalist AssociaQon`s Study/AcQon
[S/AI] Issue for 2014-18. hMp://www.uua.org/economic/escalaQnginequality ReQred Economics Prof.
Richard HaMwick will discuss how EscalaQng Inequality underlies many injusQces: from economic
injusQce to mass incarceraQon; from migrant injusQce to climate change; from sexual and gender
injusQce to aMacks on voQng rights. A short video will be shown.
