Valentine's Day - an annual Valentine's Day falling on February 14. The

name comes from St. Valentine. Valentine's Day is the symbol of the "
heart" and love. We usually send cards,wishes and poems with
love.Celebration of Valentine's Day comes from America.It has been
celebrated in Europe since the Middle Ages. The Polish celebration of
Valentine's Day hit in 90 of the 20 th century. This is very popular
international habit.

English Day Sp1 Sopor on 13th January

This event was organized by elder students of our school in cooperation with English
teachers. During the day were presented projects about UK created by students from
classes 4c and 4a . The day was composed from several parts: a short scenes about the
life in UK prepared by English Teacher Izabela Jabonska and her students class 4a and
4c, a short presentation of British cousine by English Teacher Ilona Marczyska and
her student Mikoaj Kikolski class 6a, the performance of English Dramma Club
entitled Happy Birthday Landy Moneybags (prepared by class 4b) and English
Teacher Anna Lewandowska. At the end there was a short Quiz about UK in which
took part the students from classes 5a 5b 4a 4c 4b being the part of the audience. The
English Day was a great success .
