Her sister watched 7 TV shows last week, but only on

5.Allison wants to buy a new bike, so she started helping


the Kincaids by babysitting Baby Mason. The bike she
wants to buy costs a total of $405. Over the past
month, she babysat Baby Mason 3 times and made $42
each time she babysat. How much more money does
Allison need to buy the new bike? Explain your
thinking.

6.Jake is very busy during the summer! He earned $45


tutoring students for 5 hours and $72 for giving
swimming lessons for 9 hours. For which job did he
earn more money per each hour? Explain how you
found your answer.

Thursday-

7.Rebecca has two large kitchen tables. She placed 21


paper plates on the first table and 24 plates on the
second table. Then she placed 7 skittles on top of each
paper plate. How many total skittles did Rebecca have
on the 2 large kitchen tables? Justify your thoughts.

8.Lauren earned $10.00 doing chores over the weekend


so she decided to do some shopping. She bought a
candy bar for $0.55 and an apple for $0.80. How much
money does Lauren have left?
