a. A boy has 20 FIFA cards. His friend has double the number of FIFA cards he
has. Their teacher offers to give 5 FIFA cards to whoever answers a task she has
given you correctly. Your friend has won. How many FIFA cards does he have
altogether ?

b. A girl wants to make a cake. She needs 10 eggs to make the cake. She went
and bought 10 eggs. On her way home, she has broke 3 eggs. She asks her
neighbor to give her 3 eggs instead of the ones she broke. Her neighbor already
has 20 eggs at home. She gave the girl 3 eggs.
i. How many eggs does the neighbor have after she gave her neighbor the eggs ?

ii. How many eggs does the girl have now ?

iii. Does the girl have enough eggs to bake the cake ? Give a reason for your
answer.

c. A student is buying his school books.
He receives the following books: 4 English Language Books, 2 Food and Nutrition
Books, 3 Arabic books, 3 science books, 1 religion book, no books were received
for social studies and 2 books for mathematics.
i. How many books does the student have altogether.

ii. If you knew that 5 of the books were Arabic books, what is the fraction of the
English books.

iii. The student was asked to use his old French books. They were 3 books.
How many books does the student have now altogether ?

d. David is thinking of a number.

Add 4 to the number, divide by 3 and then multiply by 5. The final answer is 25.
What is the number David was thinking of ?
