1. Class 5F sold 3 times as many funfair tickets as Class 5G on Saturday. On Sunday,


Class 5F sold another 75 tickets while Class 5G sold another 127 tickets. The total
number of tickets sold by each class then became the same. Find the number of tickets
sold by Class 5F on Saturday.

2. Jasper had $45 more than Lindsey. Kenny had $126 less than Lindsey. If they had $519
altogether, how much did Kenny have?

3. Mr Pereira bought 25 packets of chocolates. There were 23 chocolates in each packet.


He gave 485 chocolates to his pupils. How many chocolates did he have left?

4. A bag costs 4 times as much as a belt. A purse costs $12 less than the bag. If each belt
costs $16, find the cost of 36 purses.

5. Mr Leong planned to collect $80 000 from the sale of the sofas in his shop. At the end
of the day, he collected $7460 less than his planned amount. If he sold 26 identical
sofas, what is the selling price of each sofa

6. Linda bought 2 types of cards at 30¢ and 45¢ each. If she bought a total of 18 cards for
