National Day in Per


Peruvian Independence is celebrated on July 28th and 29th. People usually have a lot of fun during
these celebrations. They begin with the Presidents speech to the nation in the morning of July 28th.
There are military parades and fireworks. There are exhibitions and fairs, too. During the whole month
of July, homes, office buildings, public and private institutions, schools and restaurants display the
national flag. The Peruvian indigenous people display and sell national products and crafts. Families
