Letter of Authorization

To whom it may concern

I hereby authorize Microsoft or its representative to verify information provided in my resume and application
of employment and to conduct enquiries as may be necessary at the Companys discretion. I authorize all
persons who may have information relevant to this enquiry to disclose it to Microsoft or its representative. I
release all persons from liability on account of such disclosure. I also authorize Microsoft to share relevant
details of my background check report with third parties (including but not limited to Microsofts customers,
auditors and government agencies), on a strictly need to know basis, as may be required by Microsoft.
Microsoft shall ensure that such third parties have implemented or agreed to implement adequate data
protection mechanisms as required by law, prior to providing such background check report details.
