SMART Goal Planning Form
Goal:To complete the second half of my COMP binder.

Specific WHO? WHAT?

What will the goal accomplish? How and why will it be accomplished?

By completeing the second half of the COMP binder I will have a firmer understanding
of classroom management and on hoe to implement classroom policies and procedures
in a timely manner. I will independantly work on this task between May 2015-August
2015
Measurement/Assessment HOW?
How will you measure whether or not the goal has been reached? (list at least two indicators)

I will have complted to exercises in the binder.

I will have a more thourogh understanding of the imolentation of classroom
management in an effective and positive manner.
Attainable/Achieve REASONABLE?
Is it possible? Have others done it successfully? Do you have the necessary knowledge, skills,
abilities, and resources to accomplish the goal? Will meeting the goal challenge you without
defeating you?
This is a very attainable achievment that can be completed in the reasonable time of 31/2 months. It
will be a challenging yet self directed assignment that will challenge me and my self-discipline.

Relevant EXPECTED RESULT?

What is the result of the goal (not activities leading up to the result)?

The result will be the enrichment that I will achieve in being a more aware and
effective teacher with the knowledge of these classroom strategies.
Time-bound WHEN?
What is the established completion date and does that completion date create a practical sense of
urgency?

This is a time sensitive goal that must be done in time for my classroom internship that
is to begin in September.
Revised Goal: Complete the COMP binder in time for my internship in order to implement the
statigies along with my host teacher.
