The coming of spring

in Southern
California brings with
it a wealth of
traditions and
continued lovely
weather. In our
neighborhood, here
at Villa La Verne, our
breathtaking
Jacaranda trees begin to bloom. These alluring blossoms,
as well as other plants and flowers, attract the attention of
bees. While the presence of a few bees is not harmful, we
ask that you please report any hives or excessive numbers
to Lordon Management. Thanks for doing your part in
keeping our community members informed!

Laundry, cont
Hesiod, an ancient Greek poet once claimed, A bad
neighbor is a misfortune, as much as a good one is a great
blessing. In our neighborhood of beautiful parks,
flowering trees, and yes, tight quarters, neighbors certainly
contribute to the quality of our living.
Of late, there have been complaints about the late laundry

One way YOU can be considerate, and a blessing, to your

neighbors is by observing our HOA established laundry
guidelines. Laundry hours begin
at 7:oo a.m. and end by 9:00
p.m.. For more information on
our community Rules and
Regulations, visit
vlvhoa.weebly.com.
We value our community and want
it to remain a great place to live.
Neighborhood Watch: Coming Soon
Our HOA neighborhood watch committee will be
forming soon. Join us at the next HOA meeting to find
out how you can help keep our neighborhood safe.
The most important thing you can do to increase safety
in your community is to get to know your neighbors.
Neighbors can look out for one another by being each
others eyes and ears. Getting to know
the habits and routines of your
neighbors will enable you to
quickly recognize when
something is unusual or
peculiar and might possibly
require action.
Looking out for one another
is not the same as being a
"nosey neighbor." The purpose is to be alert and aware of
the normal and usual routines and surroundings in your
neighborhood so that prompt and appropriate action can
be taken when necessary if something appears unusual or
out of place. - City of La Verne

Painting Project Updates

& Information
Our painting project, here at Villa La Verne, is well on its
way. Below, please find a map of the five phases of the
project.
Throughout the following weeks, you may continue to
see Rapid Construction & Painting trucks around our
neighborhood. Please remember the following during
our painting project:
1. Work will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m.
2. All items should be cleared away from the buildings
and decks prior to the commencement of work.
3. Please park all vehicles away from the buildings.
4. Close all windows and place a towel across interior
window sills for extra protection, as the exterior will
be water blasted.
*Rapid Construction and Painting employees will be as careful to protect
items around the building and decks, but cannot be responsible if items are not
removed in advance of the commencement of work.
